The Tactical Medicine Course prepares participants to deliver life-saving medical care in high-risk, dynamic, and potentially hostile environments. Designed in alignment with
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) philosophies, this course bridges the gap between standard prehospital care and the unique realities required in tactical operations.

Participants will learn to assess, stabilize, and evacuate casualties under fire, manage trauma in austere conditions, and integrate medical support seamlessly into tactical teams. The curriculum combines evidence-based medical protocols with scenario-driven exercises that replicate real-world operational stressors.

• Medical Mission Planning

• Apply Care Under Fire, Tactical Field Care, and Tactical Evacuation Care principles.

• Tactical Movement and Positioning

• Triage / Common Injuries / Wounds

• Manage airway compromise and respiratory injuries in challenging conditions.

• Recognize and treat shock, hypothermia, and other preventable causes of death.

• Perform patient packaging and rapid casualty evacuation.

• Operate effectively as part of a tactical team while providing medical support.

• Communicate and coordinate with command, EMS, and other response elements.

Training Methodology:

• Classroom modules on tactical medicine principles, protocols, and equipment.

• Hands-on skill stations for bleeding control, airway management, and casualty movement.

• Live-fire or simulation scenarios (depending on jurisdiction and safety policy).

• Stress inoculation drills to build decision-making and performance under pressure.

Certification:

Participants receive a Tactical Medicine Certificate of Completion

Prerequisites:

• Basic medical training (First Aid, EMT, or equivalent) recommended.

• Law enforcement, or military background preferred but not mandatory for certain versions of the course.
